Terms of Use

1. Agreement

Maybe Today is provided by Coreleap (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Maybe Today apps, website or services (together, “Maybe Today”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Maybe Today.

2. Eligibility (18+)

Maybe Today is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, to use it. You confirm your age when you sign up. We may close accounts that we reasonably believe belong to someone under 18.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• An account is for one person. Don't share it, and don't create an account for someone else.
• Tell us promptly at hello@coreleap.digital if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Plus subscriptions

Maybe Today is free to use on your own. Maybe Today Plus (“Plus”) is an optional paid subscription that adds partner connection, shared moments, Desire Match, teases and Maybe Today Guide.

• Billing. Plus is sold as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
• Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trial. Eligible new subscribers may get a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and you'll be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings (iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Play Store, profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your Maybe Today account does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google, and refund requests go through them under their policies. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or withdrawal right you have under mandatory consumer law.
• Price changes. If the price of your subscription changes, Apple or Google will notify you as their rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Partner features

• One Plus subscription covers both connected partners. To connect, at least one of you needs an active Plus subscription. If no subscription is active for either of you, the connection pauses: shared history stays visible, and shared features resume when either of you has Plus again. A partner covered by the other's subscription keeps Plus only while you're connected.
• Only connect with someone who has freely agreed to connect with you. Either partner can disconnect at any time. After disconnecting, shared history stays visible read-only to both people.
• Maybe Today is designed so that your partner never sees your check-in answers or private reflections. Please respect each other's privacy and don't use Maybe Today to pressure, monitor or control anyone.

6. Maybe Today Guide and AI

• Maybe Today Guide is an AI coach that generates responses automatically using a third-party large language model. It's available only after you give consent in the app.
• AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. Use your own judgement, and don't rely on Maybe Today Guide for decisions about your health, safety or legal matters.
• Maybe Today Guide has daily usage limits and may decline some requests. Don't use it to generate sexually explicit content, content involving minors, or anything unlawful or harmful.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Maybe Today if you're under 18, or record information about anyone under 18;
• use Maybe Today to harass, threaten, coerce, stalk or control another person;
• send teases or messages that are abusive, hateful or that a partner hasn't welcomed;
• upload or generate unlawful content, or content that violates someone else's rights;
• try to access another person's account or data, or probe, scan or disrupt our systems;
• reverse engineer the app except where the law allows, scrape the service, or use it to build a competing product;
• resell or misuse Plus or our AI features, or get around usage limits.

If you are in an unsafe or abusive relationship, please reach out to local emergency services or a support organisation. Maybe Today is not a safety tool.

8. Your content

What you write in Maybe Today (moments, notes, check-ins, teases and Guide messages) belongs to you. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only as needed to provide Maybe Today to you and, for shared features, to your connected partner. We don't use your content to advertise or to train AI models. You can export or delete your content at any time.

9. Our rights

Maybe Today, including its software, design, name, logo and content (other than your content), is owned by Coreleap and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Maybe Today app for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the store's usage rules.

10. Not medical advice

Maybe Today, its insights and Maybe Today Guide are for general wellbeing and reflection. They are not medical, psychological, sexual health or therapeutic advice, and they don't create a professional relationship. Maybe Today doesn't diagnose or treat any condition and isn't a contraceptive or fertility tool. Speak to a qualified professional about any health concern. If you're in crisis or in danger, contact local emergency services.

11. Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep Maybe Today reliable and secure, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that Maybe Today will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every need.

To the extent the law allows, Coreleap isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, goodwill or profits, arising from your use of Maybe Today. Our total liability for any claim relating to Maybe Today is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Plus in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using Maybe Today and delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, then Delete account) or at maybetoday.coreleap.digital/delete-account. Remember to cancel any subscription separately with Apple or Google.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

13. App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded Maybe Today from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. These terms are between you and Coreleap, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Maybe Today and isn't responsible for addressing claims relating to it. If Maybe Today fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. If you downloaded Maybe Today from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply to your purchase.

14. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Netherlands. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring proceedings in your local courts.

We may update these terms as Maybe Today changes. If a change is material, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Maybe Today after that, the updated terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using Maybe Today and delete your account.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Questions: hello@coreleap.digital.
